WB: सफाई में मिला विशालकाय बम, हड़कंप

स्‍थापना के सौ साल पूरे होने के मौके पर बंदरगाह में बम मिलने से हड़कंप मच गया। दूसरे विश्‍वयुद्ध के दौरान इस बम का प्रयोग अमेरिकी सेना द्वारा किया गया था। बम को निष्क्रिय करने की दिशा में आवश्‍यक कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।

मेघालय: बचाव का 18वां दिन, मिले 3 हेल्मेट

मेघालय में कोयला खदान में फंसे 15 मजूदरों को बचाने का अभियान लगातार 18वें दिन जारी है। हालांकि खदान से तीन हेल्मेट मिले हैं, जिसके बाद बचाव कार्य में लगे अधिकारी किसी अनहोनी को लेकर आशंकित हैं। बचाव कार्य में मदद के लिए ओडिशा दमकल विभाग की एक टीम भी मेघालय पहुंच चुकी है।
